ayearfromnowEating healthy is key to wellness, but equally important is exercise. I know many people don’t like to exercise….many of my dear family and friends included. It’s like anything else, the more you do it, the more it becomes a habit, the better you feel and the more likely you will miss it when you don’t do it! I am serious!

Exercise is not all about losing weight (that’s just wonderful little gift that happens when we do). Working out increases blood flow to every organ in your body! It clears your mind and strengthens your heart and lungs with a rush of oxygen. (I call it cleaning out the cobwebs) Exercise is key to quality and longevity of your life. Like Nike says, “Just Do it”.

It takes 21 days to form a habit, so the least you can do is give it a whirl for 21 days. I would almost bet money that at the end of the 21 days, you will want to continue. Trust me, there are days when I don’t “feel” like working out. I push myself to do it anyway and the next thing I know, I am finished and I feel great! I have more energy and have a sense of accomplishment.

I have never finished a work out with regret!


I will share with you the work outs I enjoy the most. I will not put anything on this blog that I haven’t tried myself (and remember, I was born in 1966). I work out at home with my DVD player. My favorites are Beach Body’s Tony Horton/P90X,  Chalene Johnson/Turbofire & PiYo.
